In college I did most of my artwork out of duct tape and had always wanted to do a duct tape suit. Many people had done suits for prom and such but I wanted to make a classic pin striped zoot suit. 3 month and probably 400-600 feet of duct tape later I had the suit below.
The hardest part was making sheets of duct tape. I would make an entire piece of material by layer duct tape then flip it over and stick duct tape to duct tape. One mistake and you had to toss the whole sheet. After I had the sheets of material it worked very much like working with cloth. I opted to destroy a pair of slacks and cover them with duct tape for the pants since I did not like the idea of duct tape touching my skin and more importantly my hair.
